All protocol observedMy name is Mandisa Mamba. I am currently doing form 4 in Mhlatane High School. Firstly, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Junior Achievement and PMIEF project for affording me hands on experience on how to start, run and manage a company.

This was through the in-school entrepreneurship program also known to us students as JA Company program (JACO).My entrepreneurship journey started off with a presentation from the JA Eswatini team on the JA Company program early in the year. Accompanying the JA team was a JA alumni who had hands on experience in running a company while still at school.

I was pensive as I was worried about my schoolwork and the entrepreneurship journey that I was about to engage in. With determination and the help of my facilitators and the JA team we were able to embark on this beautiful entrepreneurship journey. As a CEO of Mindful Oils, I was able to lead a team through the idea generation up to product sales.

The company specialises in producing therapeutic oils and I have learnt several lessons from this process which include climate change and what we can do to mitigate the effects of climate change and that anything is possible if you put your mind into it.

The highlight of my entrepreneurship journey was being part of the regional and national company of the year competitions. At first, we were not very confident of our product as it was new in the market, however, as the presentations continued, I felt motivated and confident as most of the attendees were intrigued by our product.

The future looks bright, and we are looking forward to growing the business.
